Local User Input
This is a very challenging loop and is recommended during the warmer/dryer season due to the number of creek crossings which can be very deep during the wet season.  The Athens/Big Fork section of this loop presents the steepest single track climbs in the state.  Even the strongest rider will have to hike-a-bike some the these hills.  This is also one of the more popular trails for hikers, and equestrians, so be aware and be courteous to other users.
